Obituary for Constance Leigh Dougherty

Constance Leigh  Dougherty
Connie Dougherty, 56, of Washington Township, NJ passed away suddenly in Florida on July 7, 2018. She is survived by her two beloved children, Danielle and Bryan Dougherty, husband Tim Dougherty, parents Rosemary Cost and Bruce Mallett, sister Kathi Allen, brother Vince Mallett, stepmother Janet Mallett, stepfather Tony Cost, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, along with countless friends and loved ones.

Connie was a lover of life and a force to be reckoned with. After a very successful career spanning over 20 years in the gas and oil industry, Connie emerged as a leader in the Biotech space, as VP of Business Development for Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. and then as the Founder and CEO of balanced bio, llc. Ever the social advocate, she was also a member of the 2016 political task force in Washington, DC formed to address the opioid crisis.

Viewing will be at 9:00-10:45 am on Friday, July 13 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, all at St. Mary's Church, 2001 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003 Burial will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Connie's memory to the American Heart Association.
